Trinity College
Trinity College is the oldest university in Ireland, founded in 1592. Stepping onto the cobbles of Front Square you are surrounded by striking 16th century architecture, with the imposing campanile bell tower to the front and the beautiful Trinity Chapel to your left. The Long Room library is a must visit boasting the world-famous Book of Kells (a 9th Century Latin book of gospels) along with over 200,000 priceless manuscripts and books. Kilmainham Gaol
Kilmainham Gaol is one of the largest unoccupied gaols in Europe, covering some of the most heroic and tragic events in Ireland’s emergence as a modern nation from 1780s to the 1920s. Attractions include a major exhibition detailing the political and penal history of the prison and its restoration. The tour of the prison includes an audio-visual show. Entrance to Kilmainham Gaol is by guided tour only and is managed through timed tickets. Croke Park & GAA Museum
The Croke Park campus contains the GAA Museum, Stadium Tour and Ericsson Skyline Tour. As a prime visitor attraction, it’s an important part of visiting Dublin and offers a variety of activities. The stadium is one of the largest in Europe, with a capacity of 82,300 and can accommodate all types of events – sports to concerts.
Today, Croke Park is home to, and headquarters of, the GAA. Prior to the Association’s purchase of the stadium in 1913, the grounds were in private ownership. Today, Croke Park has UEFA and FIFA approved certification and has hosted numerous high-profile international sporting, cultural and music events outside of Gaelic games.

This museum is like no other sporting museum you will visit. It not only celebrates the history of Ireland’s national games, it also vividly brings to life how the GAA has contributed to our cultural, social and sporting heritage.
Featured exhibitions include the original Sam Maguire and Liam MacCarthy Cups, the rousing Hall of Fame, and a whole floor dedicated to the games as they are today.
