our 3 bedroomed house is a warm and welcoming home located just 11km from the scenic town of Westport and 2km from the bustling town of castlebar. We are only 1 hour drive from Galway city . It is an ideal base for exploring the west of Ireland and the wild Atlantic way.. The heritage town of Westport is famous for its restaurants and pubs with live traditional music every night of the week. Westport house is just under 11km from our home and it is the west coast of Ireland’s number 1 destination for family fun. You can hire a bike and cycle 42km from Westport on the great western greenway, the longest off road walking and cycling trail in Ireland.. the climb of Ireland’s holy mountain ‘ Croagh patrick’ starts just 13km from our home.
Our home is in a quiet area just off a main road which ensures privacy and comfort. We are happy to exchange car and bikes if needed.
We have a fully equipped kitchen with excellent WiFi and a dual oil/pellet heating system. The is adjoining apartment attached to our home which is rented long term with tenants .
