European Capital of Culture 2005, Cork City has many tourist attractions and is just a 15 minute bus trip from our house. Popular locations just 30mins or less by car include Kinsale & beaches, Blarney and Macroom. Killarney is less than a one hour drive from the house. You will have many amenities on your doorstep; cinema, hotel, restaurants, pubs, shopping centre, river walks, public park and all the services you would expect in a small town. A car is not essential as the area is well serviced by public transport.
